MICE TREATMENT PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Preparations for “First Time” or “Cleanout” Mice treatments:

It is imperative that all plumbing areas under kitchen(s), bathroom(s) cabinets as well as any plumbed areas in the garage and basement are accessible.

If you are using any commercially available baits, glue boards or snap traps discontinue use immediately. These products can prevent the effectiveness of the professional products we will be using.

Kitchen:

  • Leave any droppings where they are until we arrive.
  • Place any perishable food items that mice have been attracted to in sealed containers.
  • Front areas of refrigerators and stoves will need three (3) feet of clearance.

Bedroom and Closets:

  • If mice have been observed in dressers, remove drawers and place where they will not interfere with service personnel accessing the front and side areas of the dressers.
  • If mice have been observed in closets, remove all clothes from the rack and any stored items from the shelf. Place where they will not impede access to the closet.

Bathroom:

  • If mice have been observed in the bathroom leave any droppings where they are until we arrive.

Basements:

  • Leave any droppings where they are until we arrive.
  • Move all clothing and stored items away from washer, dryer and sink
  • Locations where the walls and ceilings as well as the walls and floors meet need to be accessible to service personnel.

Garages:

  • Place all stored food (people as well as pet) in sealable containers.
  • Place bird food and grass seed in sealable containers.
  • Move all items two (2) feet away from walls.

For one week to ten (10) days following the treatment you may notice an increase in pest activity. If this occurs do not be concerned. This is a result of the mice being attracted to the bait, if applied.
